To provide strong foundational and advanced knowledge in IoT technologies, architectures, and applications.
To develop students’ skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining smart IoT systems using sensors, microcontrollers, communication protocols, and cloud platforms.
To promote hands-on learning through labs, real-time projects, and exposure to modern IoT tools and devices.
To encourage innovation and research in smart systems, automation, embedded solutions, and connected technologies.
To prepare students for industry demands by offering training, workshops, and certifications in emerging IoT technologies.

Since its inception in 2026, the Department Internet of Things Engineering will be completing 2 years and has grown tremendously in teaching and research. The Department offers a regular four-year B.E program in “Internet of Things Engineering having an intake of 60 and under the affiliation of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
The Department presently has highly qualified and experienced staff on its roll. The activities of the Department are conducted, besides teaching, in the areas of research, consulting, training is having Advanced Computing Laboratories and Advanced Internet of things laboratories with high-end equipment in the field.
